Above and beyond our wildest dreams!

Pavilion went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and amazing! We had such a good time that we extended our stay by 9 days! The staff was super friendly and we got to know a few of them during the stay. The breakfast is good and also has a selection of vegetarian and vegan options. Rooms are clean and very well made and offer many luxury features like pools and jacuzzies. The private beach offered by Pavilion is cleaned every day and is the most maintained beach all over Lamai beach.

The only downside is that rooms on the second floor of the A building have a lot of noise until midnight due to a night market nearby. That's it!

The resort is perfect for private swimming pools and perfect for its location to the beach

- The location of the hotel was very great, at lamai beach and access to the beach. Lamai beach is great. - The Pavilion Pool Residence was perfect. - In room dining, with good variety of food.

- Gym, poor facility. - Breakfast needs more food variety. - Bath tub in villa needs to be replaced, its old and rusty. - Villa has one key only.

Amazing hotel for Samui!

Room with jacuzzi on the balcony is amazing, location is perfect right at the (private) beach and close to bars and restaurants in Lamai. Staff is amazing and willing to help you. Would definitely stay here again when in Samui!

The jacuzzi on the balcony is not that strong :) minor detail though!

Great staff, large pool and good facilities. A bit noisy because of central location.

The hotel is close to the beach. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The main pool was large and there is a pool bar with refreshments. The site was well managed and well tended and the pool staff was taking care all the time. There are many trees on he site. I believe it is one of the best hotels in the area.

We were staying at the room which was with the garden view. The room was great, but the window was on the side of the night market place. There was music playing every night till midnight No chance to sleep and rest till they end.

Excellent stay and very relaxing

The property was close to the beach but was very quiet where we were staying which was at the back of the resort in one of the garden bungalows. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The main pool was large and there was a small pool bar to get refreshments. The site was well managed and well tended and it was very lush with many trees and foliage.

Perfect in every way

Super friendly staff, perfect location and fantastic rooms!

Only teeny tiny issue was that in the small print it states you need to bring the physical bank card you made the booking with. I had pre paid and in this day and age have not carried a credit card in over 3 years. Thankfully we worked around the problem and they took a screen shot of my card in my Apple wallet.

Very Good

We loved the accomodation and how it was very close to the beach. We got a 3 bedroom villa that was facing the sea. We had direct access to the beach. It was really amazing. However, we came at a bad time as it was raining frequently. The staff were helpful and friendly!

The breakfast could have been improved. It was the same breakfast everyday and we stayed here for 5 nights. They only changed 1 or 2 dishes for one or two of the days. Apart from that, the rest of our stay was good.

Nice hotel - Good location

Spent 2 nights at the hotel. Arranged an airport pickup (which worked well) and was able to check in on arrival, a little earlier than the regulation 2pm check in time. The check in process was smooth, the girl on reception was extremely friendly. A new reception area is currently under construction and there is quite a bit of work going on in the hotel grounds but it did not disturb us at all. The room was nice and comfortable. Good TV reception, plenty of channels available. Had a jacuzzi bath on the balcony outside but the jacuzzi bit didn't work, which for me wasn't an issue. Pool was nice, didn't look for the spa so no idea if that was open or not. Gym looked pretty good but didn't use it. Beach was a little bit messy but not too bad. Check out process was as smooth as the check in. Overall a very nice stay.

Breakfast on the first day was a complete shambles, apparently they had just switched from a buffet service to al-a-carte service. Whatever, no one seemed to have any idea as to what was going on. Food we ordered didn't turn up for an eternity, despite the fact the breakfast room was not very busy. Had to ask repeatedly for milk (for my tea) and for bakery items to be topped up. 2nd day things were completely different. They switched back to a buffet service and everything was fine.

Awesome

We had a wonderful stay at Pavillion Resort. The staff were very friendly, our room was large and comfortable (air conditioning, and we enjoyed the private splash pool). The breakfast was excellent. The pool and beach areas were kept clean and comfortable.

We felt the restaurant and bar was overpriced, so we preferred to go down the street for other options.

One of the best hotels on Lamai, also little bit overpriced

First of all this hotel on my opinion one of the best if not the best on Lamai beach. It has really good personnel, everyone extremely friendly, helpful and just doing their best to make your stay as good as possible. They organised transfers for us at reasonable price. Cleaning services were just perfect. Hotel has Japanese and Thai restaurant just few meters from it and as far as I understood - they own them. Both has decent quality food and even deliver to your room. Also I would recommend to try some other places in the "city". All of them are 5-10 minutes walk. Swimming pools are clean and not overcrowded. Beach access very nice, you have showers, sun-beds. Sea is rather deep so might not be as good for smaller kids. You have good variety of small shops nearby, cafes, fruit stalls, restaurants. And this property is reasonably distanced from all noisemaker. On Sunday there were very nice street market with plenty of goods and foods just 150m from the hotel. We had 2 bedroom villa and it was very nice. Own kitchen side. 2 fridges, nice in villa equipment, every room had AC and fan, 2 separate bathroom, swimming pool - very private and roomy place to be. And just few steps from the sea. So you can swim at the sea and return to you private sundeck (if you wish so).

Sea water during our visit in December were nowhere near as it is on the booking photos. It's not dirty in the way of seaweeds or trash. But you wont see you foot while in water. Spa is overpriced and with small texts at the bottom to be aware of. E.g. they advertised us 50% discount on first treatment + 50% discount on wrapping if you take it. In the end it was 20% on wrapping (which is more expensive and with 20% I would not consider to take it) + small text about taxes on top of that. We were not informed of it in advance:-) But there are plenty of other massage centres on the street to chose from and maybe they are not so fancy but do much better job and more the half a price. But maybe it was just some misunderstanding. Spa personnel does not really good english speakers. Not much choice on breakfast. But you wont die starving for sure. Most of the thing they offer - are very decent. Very good coffee and egg station Overall I found that hotel nice but overpriced. For the price they asked for the villas one can manage to find much better options in other locations.

Comfortable bed with clean and tidy facilities, overall a nice resort, dinner on the beach was a lovely experience, good breakfast available, and staff very welcoming and accomodating to any needs. Also very helpful with any recommendation and organising any tours for us, we would highly recommend to anyone traveling to lamai beach

We think there could be more attention to detail and general maintenance within the rooms, and stuff constantly dropping in our pool from the trees, but that can’t really be helped, when I say attention to detail, I noticed the same bird poo on the wall in the courtyard for five days straight.
